Community Involvement
Regular Club Meetings
We intend to have regular meetings that are fun, useful and informative. Our program speakers come from a wide spectrum of local government officials, educators, community service non-profits, small businesses, and individuals with interesting occupations or life experiences. We also regularly have speakers from other Kiwanis activities and from non-profits outside our local area. There is something of interest for everyone!
City of Beaverton Service Fair
We participate in the City of Beaverton's Service Fair. At our table for the event we are able to contact other service organizations and chat with fair goers about our programs and projects. It is also a way to contact a variety of possible new club members.
Beaverton Rotary Sun Run
The Beaverton Rotary Club sponsors a Sun Run before the annual City of Beaverton Celebration Parade. Our club members volunteer to help with the Sun Run along the parade route with refreshment stations, parade route markers and other support tasks.
