Kiwanis Key Clubs are service clubs in high schools sponsored and supported by local Kiwanis Clubs. Our Kiwanis Club of Cedar Hills sponsors six Key Clubs in the
Beaverton School District
  • Aloha High School
  • Beaverton High School
  • Mountainside High School
  • Southridge High School
  • Sunset High School
  • Westview High School
Each year we offer a $1,000 scholarship for college to graduating Key Club seniors.

Each year we provide  partial funding for students and chaperones to attend Key Club District and International Conventions.

Our Kiwanis Club of Cedar Hills raises funds for many local community projects and other local service organizations.
We help provide ongoing support to two:
  • Mt.Hood Kiwanis Camp for children and young adults with disabilities. The camp provides a complete outdoor camping experience for participants on the slopes of Mt. Hood.
  • Kiwanis Doernbecher Children's Cancer Program. The program provides support for pediatric/oncology intern's patient practice and research at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland
We supported major Kiwanis International health programs partnered with UNICEF:
  • Iodine Deficiency Disorder Program providing iodized salt to developing countries to prevent this disorder in children.
  • Maternal Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) Project providing immunizations to prevent the disease in mothers and new babies.
Our Kiwanis Club of Cedar Hills provides people power to assist many community organizations in their service work. Some examples of our participation in community service are:
  • Covering a Meals on Wheels route one day a week.
  • Ringing Salvation Army Bells for the Red Kettle Fundraising  event at Christmas-time.
  • Covering all shifts at one store for Meals on Wheels Donate Dinner  program before Thanksgiving.
  • Volunteering for the Beaverton Rotary Sun Run before the City of Beaverton Celebration.
  • Providing toys for disadvantaged kids at Christmas through the Western Farm Workers Association.
  • Contributing to South Riverside Foundation's Coats for Kids project to provide warm coats for disadvantaged children.
